TheUncoated exists to make microplastic, PFAS, and material-related shopping claims easier to inspect. Product pages and guides should show evidence, plastic-shedding risk, synthetic polymer contact, uncertainty, and practical tradeoffs.
Product selection
Products are included when their category, material, source evidence, or manufacturer claim fits the no microplastics standard. Inclusion is not a lab certification and should not be read as medical, legal, or safety advice. Mixed-material products with synthetic polymer contact do not belong in public recommendations.
