TheUncoated exists to make PFAS-related shopping claims easier to inspect. Product pages and guides should show evidence, uncertainty, and practical tradeoffs.
Product selection
Products are included when their category, material, source evidence, or manufacturer claim is useful for a PFAS-aware shopper. Inclusion is not a lab certification and should not be read as medical, legal, or safety advice.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. Affiliate potential does not override the evidence gate. Weak, ambiguous, or unsupported products should not be surfaced as strong recommendations.
AI assistance
Automation may help draft and organize guides, but article publication is gated by product depth, source depth, product slug validation, and quality checks. Generated images are not used for guide products.
Corrections
PFAS claims, retail listings, and manufacturer documentation can change. When a product claim becomes weaker, unclear, or contradicted, the product or guide should be updated, demoted, noindexed, or removed.
