What “search-ready” means
A search-ready recommendation must pass the public product policy, avoid a high PFAS-risk signal, clear the material and synthetic-contact checks, use manufacturer-source or brand-claim evidence, reach at least 85% evidence confidence, and include a manufacturer, certification, or regulatory source.
Exclusion does not prove that a product is harmful. It means the current record is incomplete, mixed-material, weakly sourced, or otherwise not strong enough for a prominent recommendation.

What the audit changes
- Guides appear in discovery and the sitemap only when enough evidence-backed products support them.
- Weak or ambiguous product claims can remain under review without becoming search landing pages.
- Counts can fall as well as rise when a source disappears or a product no longer clears the policy.
